A BIG cheer for Charlie Hopwood and 9 members of the Atkins team who ran the Manchester Tough Mudder on 22 October raising over £2000 for PTCF. For those of you that are not familiar with the toughest endurance challenge in the UK, this was a 10K course which includes 20 of Tough Mudder’s famous obstacles, such as Arctic Enema, Everest, Mudderhorn and Electricshock.
“No training could have prepared me for this challenge and even the name didn’t prepare me for the amount of mud, not helped by the Manchester rain! I had such a great time with the rest of the team, especially knowing that it was all for such an inspiring yet underappreciated cause. I can’t wait for the next challenge… watch this space!”

Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group (Cheltenham office) very generously match-funded the amount raised by the team and in doing so doubled the donation to PTCF.
Raising vital funds for PTCF enables the charity to provide free trauma training globally to some of the most remote, rural regions of the world.
